  • Clothing Stores. Send your kids back to school in style, plus get extra savings at those summer sales with 5% cash back at clothing stores. Now your whole family is lookin’ gooooood!
  • Florists. The leaves are turning toward fall already? We’re not quite ready either. Enjoy 5% cash back at florists, and put a little more summer in your day a little longer.

All you have to do to enjoy these extra perks is to make a non-PIN debit card purchase at a spa, clothing store, or florist. It’s that easy. Ahhhhhh, that’s better.

Details:
The amount you can earn at the 5% cash back bonus rate is limited to $500 per household annually (starting on the day your account was opened). That’s a lot of dahlias. The total amount of cash back you can earn remains unlimited. Unless specific stores are named, qualifying purchases are determined by MCC codes. Non-PIN debit card purchases will earn 5% cash back in September in the following categories: Spas (7297, 7230, 7298), Clothing Stores (5611, 5621, 5651, 5691) and Florists (5992).

    How could I know which stores qualify for the 5% cash back? I checked the code but find nothing. e.g. if I buy man’s clothing in Younkers or JCpenny, does this purchase qualify?

    Hi Alan,
    You can ask at the store about the MCC code. Department stores do not qualify, but places like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, J Crew, Gap do!
