Grand Opening Art Event at the PerkStreet Lounge

The PerkStreet Lounge was open all weekend and we got the chance to introduce ourselves from Williamsburg and tell them how to get access to tons of free surcharge-free ATMs and awesome debit card perks.
We had a great party on Friday night to kick off the arrival of PerkStreet to 303Grand!
Laurie from PerkStreet thanked everyone for coming and around 200 people stuffed themselves into the space, milling around, happily perusing the art exhibition curated by Carrie Schupper & Aliya Naumoff, featuring the works of Nick Zinner (guitarist from the Grammy nominated band Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Scott Alger, Conrad Keeley (from the band And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead), Dominic Episcopo, Shen Plum, Dan-An Kim, Matthew McMullen Smith, Jess Rotter and many others.
Entitled ‘Art that Rocks’, the exhibition focuses on music, one of the great perks that PerkStreet offers. We served up Beerlao, Zico coconut water and coffee all night long. To highlight the night, James Iha, from the Smashing Pumpkins, often considered the quiet one in the band, made an appearance to support his friend curating the show. We tried to cop a snap of him but he politely declined – a few tears from us but then that’s the crazy fan inside what can we say.
